Saturday 1st July 2017 Walk Report.

8 of us ( plus Patrick the dog) set off from the Queens Head at Orlingbury on a pleasant enough but not too warm day fora  6.25 mile walkacross the fields to Hardwick where the church and the Old School were much admired.
On leaving Hardwick we crossed numerous fields before reaching the back end of Wellingborough Cricket Club where where what one can only presume was the detritius from a barbeque or some such event had been thrown through the hedge onto the footpath.
However nothing daunted we continued on and after numerous fields arrived in Little Harrowden for the last ascent up the hill to Orlingbury.
The pub was not serving lunches so we made our way to the Lamb at Little Harrowden where we were joined by Linda D for lunch.
Hopefully we will see Linda out walking again in the not too distant future.
A good lunch was had by all with two members staying behind for pudding and very it nice it was too.
Thanks to Jane T for organising and leading the walk and to to the chairman for acting as back marker.
