Saturday 24th November Walk Report.

Meeting at the Half Moon Pub and having given our food order in 8 ( plus Patrick the dog) of us set off on a  4.5 mile walk from Grendon village, crossing fields and coming down to view Castle Ashby House where we had a "photo opportunity".

The walk took us into Easton Maudit before branching off thru fields again bringing us back to Grendon.   The walk was mainly fields with a short distance on road, mainly flat but with a couple of inclines and a couple of stiles.

The weather was good for us with a few spots of rain and by the time we had got our hoods up it had stopped.   A 2 hour walk and back to the pub for a well deserved drink and meal.

Everyone enjoyed the walk and several asked if we could do it again in the Summer, perhaps doing it "backwards".

Thanks to Nonnie for acting as walk leader on the day.

Thanks to Vonnie for organising the walk, taking the pictures, acting as back marker and providing this report.
