Thursday 25th July 2019 Walk Report

A short walk of 4.5 miles for the K.D.R.C.Thursday walkers on a very warm and sunny morning.
We walked around the Kinewell Lake then left a smaller group to go back and have coffee the at Watermill tea rooms.
(For more details of this group and pictures please visit our Kettering and District Rambling Club Facebook page)
Then we took took the track past a private fishing lake.
Onto the River Nene where we had a mid morning stop on the bank.

Can you spot Private Godfrey in this group?

After this onwards walking through the pretty village of Great Addington.
Crossing the road to the fields leading out to a track taking us past a farm and back to the lunch
stop at Watermill tea rooms.
Thanks to Judith E for organising and leading this walk on what proved to be a record breaking day for UK temperatures. Judith also provided this report.
Thanks to Jean Hazard for being the back marker.
Pictures were provided by Julie S.
