Londom Walk Travel Card Reminder

If you are doing the London walk on the 14th April please ensure you get a Travel card when you book your rail ticket if you haven't already done so. This will avoid the need to queue at St Pancras to get tube tickets etc and holding up the rest of the group from starting the walk.

General Data Protection Regulations.

The General Data Protection Regulations will come into force in May this year and will replace the existing Data Protection Regulations.

To enable us to comply with the new regulations we have to ask members if they are willing to let us collect and use data for specific purposes. To allow us to do so a form will be included with the  new Summer walk cards and newsletters which will be distributed soon.

Please do not ignore the form but fill it in and return as requested to enable us as a club to comply with the new regulations.
David H.
Chairman KDRC.

Saturday 31st March Walk Report.

Seven hardy souls set off from Oundle on what promised to be a somewhat damp ten mile figure of eight walk. The route was from Oundle to Glapthorn Cow Pasture to Glapthorn and back to Oundle.

The morning was cloudy and the afternoon was very wet  and due to flooding it was not possible to walk along the river from Cotterstock to Oundle so the return was made via the road.

Lunch was taken at the Ship in Oundle and the food was good.
The return to Kettering was made using the 3.48 No 4 bus.

Thanks to Steven T for organising and leading the walk and to Julie S for acting as back marker and providing this report.
